Switching to a Physical Planner
I decided to switch to a physical planner. I have a 20+ year old Franklin planner and decided to purchase three weeks of weekly pages.
I was using a combination of Google Calendar and a Moleskine notebook, but I figured I've got the planner and a three month pack of weekly pages is cheap, so I went for it.
I also ordered the Universal Starter Pack that has the plastic page marker and the thin cards that go in them plus some extra tabs and most useful, a planner guide.
I'm now going through the planner guide and doing the activities that lead to a mission statement. The pack also included a summary of the 7 Habits so I'm brushing up on them. I read 7 Habits and First Things First back in the 90's so I need a little refresher.
I also need some structure in my life these days. Maybe when I get the hang of it again I'll go back the Moleskine notebook. That's less structured, but also lets me flex my creativity.
Now off to do the values activity.
